Lead in Water Action Kits Now Available

We’ve heard the stories about lead poisoning in Flint, Michigan. The situation is appalling, infuriating, and heartbreaking. And lead is only one of the industrial chemicals found in drinking water. Sharon Lerner’s ongoing exposé in The Intercept reveals that Flint Residents May Have Been Drinking PFCs in Addition to Lead. (PFCs are the highly fluorinated chemicals used to make products nonstick, stain- and water-repellent.)
